President's Message
There are over one lakh Indians who have completed their medical education abroad. Many of them have settled down in all corners of the Globe as successful Physicians & Surgeons, Teachers & Professors and leaders of Industry. And there also are many more who have returned to India to work here and participate in the efforts to make this nation emerge as a formidable player amongst the top few in the world. I am proud to be one among those who have returned to India in that endeavor. Let us all, members of the All India Foreign Medical Graduates Association, hasten & nurture this achievement through our collective effort.

Doctors returning to India after their education abroad do face a number of challenges on account of certain discriminatory policies or work place issues in relation to those who have studied in India. We need to work with the Executive and Legislative wings of the Government to ensure a level playing field to all Doctors, irrespective of whether they have studied within India or outside.

The AIFMGA will network with other Associations of Doctors around the world and learn about the best practices being used for improving the quality of medical care and treatment, diagnosis and discovery and disseminate such information to all members. This website shall offer comprehensive details to members on the latest technological advancements in the field of medicine, Continuing Medical Education Programmes and other such useful information and remain as a forum for all members to voice their concerns and share their views. Members are requested to make the best use of this website by regularly logging in.

All Undergraduates, Postgraduates, Diploma Holders, Doctorates and Research Associates of any W.H.O. recognized Foreign Medical College, university, Academy or institution with a Medical, Dental or any other globally recognized degree in any approved system of Medicine can become a member of the Association.

I wish all our members every success in their professional and personal endeavours. I also extend my warm greetings to all the visitors to this website.
